During the Democrats' shopworn and meaningless scolding of oil executives last week, ExxonMobil's Rex Tillerson may have iterated the quintessentially perfect anti-socialist sound byte for the next election: "We don't believe in shared sacrifice. We believe in shared prosperity."
Wow! Powerfully poignant.
Like no others, those words succinctly differentiate the raw distinction between socialism and capitalism, liberals and conservatives, progressives and republicans. Rex would have made Ayn Rand of Atlas Shrugged fame blouse-busting proud.
These straightforward, enlightening and winning words must become part of the GOPs electioneering repertoire.
